Botanical Name: Lavandula angustifolia, Lavandula officinalis.

Common Names:  True lavender.

I have sourced this very high grade lavender grown by the farmers attached to a local lavender Cooperative situated in high mountain areas  of Provence Region. When I visited the Cooperative  in the Summer just as the lavender was being harvested, the aroma and colour of the lavender flowers as each of the farmers brought in their harvest was magnificent. It’s Provence , the homeland of lavender!

This grade of lavender is  the highest in Provence. It is certified organic , extra blue and a beautiful colour flower.
